How to ride a recorded ride again

Summary

If you completed a great ride in the past and want to repeat the exact same route, Cyclers makes it easy to re-navigate your completed activities.

Android users can duplicate a route with a single tap using the built-in Ride again feature. On iOS, you can quickly repeat any ride by re-importing its GPX file (Plus users) or by selecting the original route from your saved list in the Planner.

Step-by-step instructions

Android

  1. Go to the Record tab and select the specific ride you want to ride again.

  2. Tap the three vertical dots icon () in the top right corner.

  3. Select Ride again.

iOS

While the direct "Ride again" button is currently an Android exclusive, you can easily repeat a ride using one of the following methods:

Method A: For Cyclers Plus users (via GPX re-import)

  1. Go to the Record tab and tap the completed ride you want to repeat.

  2. Tap the three vertical dots icon () in the top right corner.

  3. Select Export to GPX.

  5. Open the exported file in the route planner to start navigation.

Method B: For Free users (via Planner)

  1. Go to the Planner tab.

  2. Find the original planned route in your saved routes list.

  3. Tap Navigate to start riding it again.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Why don't I see the "Ride again" button on my iPhone?

The dedicated Ride again button is currently available on Android devices only. iOS users can achieve the same result by exporting the completed ride to GPX and re-importing it (Plus users), or by launching the original saved route from the Planner tab.

  • Will repeating a ride overwrite my previous activity history?

No. Every time you ride and save a route, Cyclers logs it as a new, independent entry in your Record tab with its own speed, duration, and date statistics.
