Summary

Changing your email address in the Cyclers app is performed by our support team upon your request; for security reasons, it is necessary to have access to both the original and the new email addresses.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Contact our customer support with a request to change your email address.

2. Clearly state in your request:

  • Your current (old) email address under which the account is currently registered.
  • The new email address you wish to set for your profile.

3. To verify your identity, we will send you a verification code. It is essential that you have access to both email addresses (old and new) to confirm this code.

4. Once successful verification has taken place, our technicians will perform the change in your profile.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What if I no longer have access to my old email address?

In this case, we cannot directly transfer your data. However, if you provide a purchase receipt, we can transfer your Plus licence to your new account.

  • Can I change my email myself in the app settings?

No, this is currently only possible through our customer support.

  • Do I need to create a new account if I log in via Google/Apple/Facebook?

Yes, if you are changing your identity provider, we will ask you to create a new account with a new email address, to which we will subsequently transfer your data and licence.

  • Will I lose my saved rides when changing my email?

No, if verification for both addresses is successful, support will ensure the transfer of data, history, and gamepoints to your new email address.
